In November 2021, we conducted magnetic surveys at two Bronze Age sites near Povegliano Veronese in northern Italy: Muraiola and Grezzanin. During a one-day campaign, approximately 4.4 hectares were investigated using a multi-sensor gradiometer system with high-precision RTK positioning.
At Muraiola, the results of the survey revealed two major housing complexes on elevated terrain, confirming earlier evidence of a settlement from the Late Bronze Age and suggesting an extension to the north. At Grezzanin, only a few archaeological features were detected, primarily pits and fireplaces along the southern edge of the site.
