Ground-penetrating radar surveys were carried out at the Visigothic site of La Losilla in cooperation between cmprospection and SOT Prospecció Arqueològica, within a research project of the University of Göttingen. The investigation built on earlier magnetic surveys carried out in 2013 and focused on identifying further remains around a previously excavated Visigothic church and burial area.
Despite challenging soil conditions, the survey revealed indications of building remains and additional graves within a small settlement area surrounding the church. The results provide valuable new insights into the structure and extent of the site.
